DAY 1
Places visited:Taipei Zoo,Maokong,Shi Da Night Market
When I arrived TaoYuan Airport at 6plus7am, the travel agency driver drove me and my mum to East Dragon hotel after collecting my luggage.
East Dragon Hotel is located opposite Xi Men Ding,a well-known shopping district :) !!
So I will pass by every single day! Love their friendly services to me and my mum.
However,the only disadvantage is,daily
breakfast is always a sunshine egg & ham and 2 honey-butter(?) bread for one person.
But I love their breakfast because I love eggs and wouldn't get sick of it !
We reached hotel @ 8 plus and the check in to our hotel room was at 2pm.Hence,we went to KFC located at Xi men Ding.
THE KFC BREAKFAST WAS TOTALLY
DIFFERENT FROM SINGAPORE'S !!
After that ,
We went to Taipei Zoo & Mao Kong via Taipei 捷运(MRT) from XiMen Station.
Alighted @ Taipei Zoo Station .
I will always enter & go out from Exit 6 of Ximen Station.
I love Taiwan's transport system! Everything is well-organised!

When I got off the train,go out the station and you will see these footprints that will guide you to the zoo :)
Some picutures i took @ the Taipei Zoo! I was so cold so i wore my mum's 大衣！
I stood there for a few mins but the koala bear still did not turn around!!

Went to Maokong via cable car from the Singapore Zoo ! There will be a small shuttle bus in the zoo to drive u there :)
My mum and I ate hot sweet potatoes !
We walked around 30mins up the hill @ Maokong because my mum and i wanted to visited
the Mao Kong's tea plantation! However,we started worrying why we took so long and a great distance to reach.Hence,we walked the same route to get back to Maokong Cable Car ..
The weather at that time was threatening too(looks like gg to rain!).. So it wasnt a bad idea to start walking back :)
Our feet hurts by the long hours of walking !!! So we decided to go back our hotel to have a short rest after our Zoo & Maokong trip :) It was around 4 plus we got back to our hotel via Taipei MRT ! So before going back to hotel,we went to takeaway the famous AH ZHONG MIAN XIAN @ Xi men ding !
It was really delicious !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 面线 was so thin and smooth(?!) !! It was so different from Singapore's... Ahhh.. Im missing ah zhong mian xian so much right now...
We went to Shi Da Night Market around 5 plus ! The clothes there were trendy but pricey.
I got a pair of black platform shoes which IS MY MOST FAVOURITE PAIR OF SHOES RIGHT NOW !!!!!! It costed me around 500-550TW .I forgotten the actual price >< ! There's a shop selling 水煎包 which is so delicious compared to the one i ate @ Raohe night market during my day 4. Im sorry i didnt took any photos in Shi Da Night market cause i was seriously tired and mainly wanted to enjoy myself :)
Directions to go to Shi Da Night Market :
MRT: Taipower Building Station.
Walk: After coming out from TAIPOWER BUILDING STATION EXIT 3,make a
u-turn towards the right and walk straight down until you see a busy road on your
right.Ask the people there if you want to confirm yourself you're walking the right direction! During my Taiwan trip,i asked people around me and they were really friendly !!!!
So this marks my Taipei day 1!
