Taipei Itinerary Day 5

Modern Toilet Restaurant @ Xi Men Ding

This post will be rather short because I only went to Modern Toilet Restaurant located @ Xi Men Ding for my lunch and off for shopping @ Taipei Underground Malls(directions refer to day 2 post) again.

Around 9 plus or 10,wanted to make a visit to Red House but it was closed :(
Opening hours was 12pm? It's just located OPPOSITE Xi Men Ding. You have to cross the road to go opposite of course..
Anyway you can come up from exit 6's escalator of Xi Men Station and cross the road and you will see the Red House :)

DIRECTIONS TO XI MEN DING : Alight @ Xi Men Station .

There's PARTYWORLD :)

It's quite hard to find Modern Toilet Restaurant in Xi men ding since it's a huge place!!! I have to ask around for directions!!!!! It's quite inside and I have to turn left turn right etc !! ><
There's some souvenirs in the restaurant you can buy for your friends! Cute isn't !

These food photos indeed make me drool........
But do you find it strange/disgusted to eat from a TOILET bowl? I find it quite cool!! But my mum felt disgusted >< Oh well!

   Mummy's Chicken Cutlet Rice.
Average meal... Didn't find it that tasty but not too bad...

My Seafood Soup with Rice.. ( If I'm not wrong it comes's with different styles like Japanese etc.But I couldn't remember ><
The soup was very salty at first but at the end of my meal,it became really sweet and I love it :)

My mama is so cute ^v^

Coke from Male's urine bowl ><
My mum and I couldn't finish our drinks.
Mum and I only drank 1/3 of our coke. I suggest 2 people to share 1 bowl(?) of coke instead of ordering drinks individually. I feel so sad I wasted my drinks :( ><

ALERT: THIS IS NOT FOR YOU TO PEE BUT FOR WASHING HANDS ONLY ^^!
This is the only thing I felt disgusted at the restaurant !

& last few shots before leaving the restaurant. These photos are took at the entrance!

Walked around Xi Men Ding and there's some Chinese temple/Buddhist event going on.
You would NOT see this in Singapore because we are not allowed to hold such events in Singapore.
My mum totally love and felt enthusiastic about it!!!!! ( My family religion is Buddhist!!)
It's really an eye-opening experience for me!

I only know this :

三太子!!!!!
It's my birthday and my mum bought me a slice of cake from Starbucks because there isn't any bakery shops @ Xi Men Ding. No candles:( but it's ok and alright! A cake will do! I just need to have a BITE. There's Caramel Frappuccino for me too. Yayyyyy

DAY 6 POST coming up reallllll soon :) BYE!

淡水老街,淡水漁人碼頭 ,五分埔&饒河街觀光夜市

DanShui Old Street,Fisherman’s Wharf,Wu Fen Pu & Raohe Night Market

Hello!I spent my Day 4 to four different places.
I love Danshui Old street the most and would definitely go there again :)
Here's some photos i took at Danshui old street:

My brunch !

This is the one of the local specialties: A-Gei 啊给(crystal noodles stuffed in fried bean curd, served with a mild hot sauce). It's super delicious that I'm always craving for it even I'm back in Singapore. Ahhh I miss it T.T ! SO EVERYONE WHO GOES DAMSHUI,PLEASE ORDER 1 A-GEI ! I love glass noodles ^^

This is the shop where I had my brunch:

Cuttlefish!!

And yes....... When you go to Tamshui Old street, buying this long ice-cream is a must too!
It comes with different flavor but you can mix 2 flavor tgt as well :)
I bought my ice-cream next to the cuttlefish stall and it melt very fast :( . I suggest you to purchase ice-cream from shops near the Ferry Pier !

Frying Milk
My smile explains everything :) I am very happy because before I go to Taiwan, I already decided what I want to eat and I have ate it!!!!! So, I have the "achievement unlock" feeling ^^!  TEEHEE!
Happy Girl because cravings satisfied!
 There's HOT-STAR large fried chicken too !!!

Directions to Tamshui Old Street : Alight @ Tamshui Station via RED LINE(Tamshui Line).
[[roughly 40 minutes metro ride from Taipei Main Station ]]
Walked out of station and turn LEFT.  Follow signboards to Tamshui Old street.

Directions to Fisherman's Wharf:
As you walked to the end or behind of Tamshui Old Street, you will see waterfront area and ferry pier.Purchase 2-way ferry ticket to Fishman's Wharf from the counters ;)

At the ferry :) Heading to Fisherman’s Wharf !
It's my second time coming here! I went Fishman's Wharf again because this time round I want to walk the whole bridge ^^. From one end to the other.
(The first time was guided by tour guide so I don't have sufficient time to tour around)

I really love taking scenery shots and I love the weather at that time(Nov). Super windy and chilling.

I feel so carefreeeeeeeeeee!!

Dog smelling my leg ? :X BUT HI CUTIE :)

For couples to hang their love wishes.

When is my turn to bring my future husband here to ring the bell 3 times :')?

OH YES. Please buy this crunchy cake @ Tamshui Old street ! Here's the packaging.

Mummy & I went back to hotel and settle down our buys.Rested awhile and head to HouShanpi Station for WUFENPU !!!
WUFENPU is an area, best known for wholesale garment market!
CHEAP CLOTHES! Most T-Shirt for 200TW :) Which is around SGD$10?

Directions to 五分埔 Wu fen Pu :
Alight @ HouShanpi Station. Walk out and seek for sign posts and follow them !

五分埔 Wufenpu is very near to Raohe St. Night Market !!!
You just need to walk from a short distance :) Please ask around to confirm you're walking the right way.

The reason why I want to visit Raohe St. Night market is because of this :

胡椒饼!!!! Black Pepper Bun !
There's a long queue and I can assure you that it's very hot and delicious !
Oh man,Im craving for it now :(
I think it's just TW50 ? SGD$2.50

Walked past a stall selling 水煎包. Nah It doesn't taste good ;(
Prefer the ones I ate at Shi Da Night Market.

Did my nails at Raohe St. Night Market !
It's so pretty right <3
TWD550 I think ! Which is around $27.50??

Pretty nails under TOY camera effect :)
